Velo-city 2013
June 11–14, 2013. During the conference Velo-city 2013 the international
bicycle community will meet in Vienna. The “Radarena” at Vienna City
Hall Square offers information about cycling and other services. An exhibition
at the MAK, a bicycle fashion show at Karlsplatz, the bicycle parade
´”Wiener Riesen-Radler” and the Bike-Film-Festival complement the

Vienna Pride & Rainbow Parade
Vienna´s gay/lesbian community invites to its most important annual
events.
June 11–15, 2013. One of the highlights of the Vienna Pride is the tent
city “Pride Village” at the City Hall Square offering a mix of culture, show,
culinary delights and information. At the same time many “Pride Parties”
are taking place.
June 15, 2013. Gay and lesbian people, drag queens and their friends
parade around Vienna´s Ringstrasse. More than 100.000 people are expected
at the Rainbow Parade.

30th edition Danube Island Festival
June 21–23, 2013. Hard to believe but true: The popular Danbue Island
Festival takes place for the 30th time! For three days Vienna´s popular
recreational paradise – the Danbue Island – turns into Europe´s largest
open air area. About three million visitors will enjoy many musical top
