"Musikalischer Adventkalender" (Music Advent Calendar)
December 1–23, 2010. The Wienerlied (Viennese music) accompanies
you throughout Advent season: The „Musical Advent Calendar“ is
touring through all 23 districts of Vienna, starting with a concert on
December 1 in the 1st district and ending with a musical evening on
December 23 in the 23rd district. Typical Viennese restaurants are the

Exibition: "Birgit Jürgenssen"
December 16, 2010–March 6, 2011. The Bank Austria Kunstforum
presents the first posthumous retrospective of the work of Birgit
Jürgenssen. The artist was born in Vienna and is regarded as one of the
internationally outstanding representatives of feminist avant-garde. She
puts the female body in the center of her work which involves drawings,

“Magic of Advent and Viennese Christkindlmarkt” and “Winter at the MQ”
November 13–December 24, 2010. Vienna offers many Christmas
markets. Especially popular is the Viennese Christkindlmarkt at City Hall
Square in the heart of the city where Christmas spirit, hot punch and
special delicacies await you. November 18–December 23, 2010. “Winter
at the MQ” denotes the slightly different Christmas market in the
MuseumsQuartier with a cool ice palace bar and modern DJ sounds.

Blue Man Group
November 4, 2010 – January 2, 2011. The multimedia-based, rhythmical
show of the Blue Man Group can be experienced in Austria for the very
first time, at Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier. The performance was created in
New York and has already enthused 17 million spectators worldwide.
